Dunblane Centre NEwsletter

Message from Lynn at the Centre

We’ve had a busy start to the year with orchard and other tree planting, thanks to our garden volunteers, trees from the Woodland Trust and funding from Central Scotland Green Network. More outside space development will follow, and we hope by summertime you’ll be able to sit in a pleasant garden and enjoy one of our lovely coff ees.

If you’re around over Eastertime then have a look at what we’ve on off er in our youth Easter programme, try a fi tness class, play some badminton or join the netballers. There’s even a new Roller Skating group every Friday at 12.30pm for an hour, so dust off your skates and pop down for a hurtle and good old laugh!

Coming soon... Bingo Tea – shout your Legs Eleven or Two Little Ducks on Friday 24th April to win some great prizes. The Full Monty is on from Thursday 7th May to the Saturday 9th May, tickets are already going fast. You might recognise a few familiar..erm.. faces, so come along for a good giggle!

As ever there’s so much more planned for the coming months, so please keep in touch, follow us on our very active Facebook page and give us a call on 01786 824 224 for more info on anything.

Update from Andy, Youth Worker

It seems like ages since we last wrote a piece for theWire, and a lot’s been happening! We’ve had the Christmas holidays, begun a revamp on our music room, and a lot of you will have been studying for exams you have in a couple of months.

As the Easter break soon approaches, we’re happy to announce our 2015 Easter Youth Programme. Here’s a wee taster of what we’ll have on off er. All classes require prior booking, with the exception of the Skate Park BBQ. This year, along with payment when booking, we will also require a consent form. The full programme with activity descriptions along with consent forms will be available from the Centre and downloadable from Facebook from Monday 2nd March.

We look forward to welcoming you to these awesome activities!

As always, you can keep up to date with everything we’re doing on our social media pages: facebook.com/DunblaneYouthie or @DunblaneCentre
