Dunblane Charrette

Create a community vision for your town centre A project funded by the Scottish Government, Stirling Council and the Big Lottery

A “charrette” is an interactive planning exercise that allows everyone in a community to participate in a series of intensive workshops to create a vision for the future.

Your Community Council and Development Trust have appointed PAS (Planning Aid Scotland) to facilitate a charrette process for you. This will determine how the town centre should develop in social, economic and environmental terms over the next 20 years. From this exercise a Community Plan will emerge as an action guide to realising the vision you create.

Joining in The main event occurs from Sunday 26th April to Wednesday 29th April. Everyone in Dunblane should take part, whether coming along to workshops on particular themes or just dropping-in at any time during this period share your views.

PAS will also be running a number of preparatory workshops in March with an emphasis on working through local schools & youth groups to get young peoples’ views about their town centre.
