Recovery & Relax To Get Fitter...
I always say to my clients that consistency is crucial to an ongoing fi t and healthy lifestyle (along with variety and intensity if you’ve read my other articles) – and one key factor of consistency is recovery.
Every year I see the gym I work from mobbed with new, enthusiastic members working on their New Year resolutions. And guess what, after about 3 weeks the place becomes nice and quiet again.
It’s so easy to burn yourself out by taking on too much all at once and then not letting your body fully recover. time.

Please remember, you have the rest of your life to become the fi ttest and healthiest version of yourself possible. Take small steps – workout once a week and then build up over weeks and months to 3, 4 or 5 times a week. There’s no rush and you’ll enjoy yourself a lot more - and you’ll see bigger improvements.
