Modern library services in a spacious and sophisticated facility for the community. Library members may use all of Willoughby’s libraries including Chatswood, Artarmon, Castle Cove, Castlecrag, Naremburn, Northbridge West Chatswood, Manly, Mosman, Lane Cove and North Sydney.

HOME LIBRARY SERVICE Phone: 9777 7900


Residents of the Willoughby City Council area may apply to join either the Home Library Service (HLS), which is available to residents who are housebound due to age, long term illness or disability or Self-Select Home-Delivery (SSHD), available for residents who can visit the library but are physically unable to carry their items home. With both services, library staff deliver library items monthly on a designated day. Audio devices are available for Home Library Service customers. Home Library Services are free of charge. Library items are available in English or community languages.

A wide variety healthy lifestyle, social, and educational groups.


Information & Referral services, Legal Service, Tax Advice Service (July to October).


Meeting and function rooms with Wi-Fi, available for hire for community, educational and commercial use. Community bus hire. Function catering available.


Café: Come and enjoy a fair trade tea or coffee, a homemade muffin, quiche or sandwich from 9am -3pm, Mon - Fri. Tuesday: Grilled chicken, schnitzel, delicious salads and other specials. Friday: Fish, chips and salad specials. No need to hurry in and out.


Seniors Internet Kiosk: Available at the Dougherty Centre to local seniors for tuition in basic internet and email. For those age 50 and over who want to learn to use the internet to stay in touch with friends and family, the kiosk services are free of charge.
