Welcome to the 2014 winter edition of the Ultimate Canada Digital Magazine! The cold is here and we now have a chance to catch our breath and catch up with the action from the late summer and fall. Read on and immerse yourself in all that Canadian Ultimate has to offer.
Ultimate is changing right before our eyes. We are living in a unique time and witnessing the evolution of our sport. The Ultimate Canada Conference is an opportunity to get together with other enthusiasts from the community and work together towards a stronger future in Canadian Ultimate. We cover the UCC and other exciting topics in our Ultimate Canada update section.
Our regional interest section provides a unique story from all six Canadian Ultimate regions. Take your cross-country tour from the masters/grandmasters
development in the Atlantic, through the challenge cup in Ottawa, and land in BC with youth physical literacy initiative.
Canada is proud of its junior programs. Not only do we present to you the U23 national team, we also highlight junior all stars from CUC 2014. In our back pages, you will find some French content as well as a neat story on innovation in Canada. I hope you enjoy the winter edition and, as always, see you on the field!
