Notable: SafetyPlus by Crimestopper has introduced new mirror monitors for 2014. Replacement styles include Bluetooth, Windows 6.0, Android Navigation mirrors, OnStar, BlueLink, and built-in DVRs. The SafetyPlus SV-9156.ct is a replacement style mirror monitor with
a 4.3-inch digital color LCD screen, a built-in compass, and a tempera- ture gauge all in one unit, with a resolution of 400 × RGB × 272. With two video inputs (with auto-switching for reverse camera), the units completely replace the factory rear view mirror, automatically adjusting brightness with ambient light. A universal mounting bracket and additional mount- ing brackets are available. The MSRP of the monitors is as follows:

The Redline 8-inch subwoofer features a cast basket, an over- sized triple layer spider, a 2.5-inch high-temp voice coil and a three-way cooling system. With a power handling of 300-600 watts RMS and 1800 watts peak, the sub is engineered for big bass performance, according to the company. MSRP for the sub is $189.
The 2014 models are Klippel-verified, CES-2013 com-
pliant, and feature an aluminum curvilinear dust cap to dissipate heat generated by the increased power handling, as well as a solid stamped steel frame and integrated frame- mounted compression terminals.
Notable: The Cadence QRS Series line of performance speakers uses high quality materials and stamped steel basket construction, according to the company. The line features black woven Kevlar cones with butyl rubber surround, for a detailed but smooth frequency response. The six speaker models also use silk dome tweeters with neodymium magnets, and crossovers with Mylar crossover capacitors for lower distortion and high power han- dling. They include heavy-duty screw-down terminals. The 6-by-9-inch model is a three-way speaker using a ring
radiator style tweeter with a 19mm dome super tweeter. The QRS three-way component speaker set uses a 2.5-inch neo- dymium midrange driver. Its crossovers feature adjustments for low pass frequency, tweeter level and tweeter polarity.
