Kicker Performance Audio has released its new line of premium headphones, called the Vapor. The headphones, which are designed to be light and comfortable for any listener, are available via
www.kicker.com and authorized dealers. The MSRP is $199.95.
The headphones offer a pair of 35mm dual-diaphragm transducers, acoustically tuned cup design and seal- ing ear pads. The trapezoidal shape of the earpiece and the soft, leather ear pads are designed to fit as comfortably and exactly as possible. The tangle-free, flat-cable cord is detachable, so it gives way if unexpect- edly hung up. It allows ease of motion and includes an angled plug with strain relief, providing maximum reli- ability. A three-button multi-function remote integrated into the cord allows control of audio and phone capabilities for compatible Apple devices. The cord is equipped with a microphone that hangs at jaw level.
All five models of Pioneer’s network connected in-dash receivers known as NEX, intro- duced at CES 2014, are now shipping to authorized retailers nationwide. The AVIC-5000NEX ($750 SRP), available at Best Buy, and the AVH-4000NEX ($700
SRP), AVIC-6000NEX ($900 SRP), AVIC-7000NEX ($1200 SRP), and AVIC-8000NEX ($1400 SRP), offered at Pioneer installation specialist retailers, Crutchfield and other major retailers, feature an innovative new user interface to keep smartphone-driven consumers connected and entertained while in the car.

Notable: Pacific Accessory Corporation’s (PAC) ControlPRO smartphone programmable steer- ing wheel control interface is a universal module that can be programmed quickly via today’s smart devices. The ControlPRO can be programmed via iOS or Android smart- phone or tablet. If a mobile device isn’t practical or available, the ControlPRO can be programmed by PC (Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8), USB thumb drive, DIP switch, or manually. To connect the ControlPRO to a smartphone, tablet, PC or USB drive, the installer uses a special USB adapter cable, which is included.
