Diamond Audio unveiled its anniversary edition of the HEX Pro subwoofers at the 2014 CES. The anniversary edition HEX Pro subwoofers, with their patented TDXTM technology, are accented with a copper finish theme. Subwoofers are usually sold as a single unit unless otherwise noted. The subs can handle RMS 600 watts with a maximum of 1200 watts. General features include an aluminum dust cap, an ultra-high-energy neodymium magnet structure and a 3-inch voice coil.
Notable: Metra Electronics has announced its latest radio replacement solu- tion, the 95-6517HG for aftermarket double-DIN mounting and the 99-6517HG for a sin- gle-DIN solution. These parts are specific to the 2014 Dodge Dart models without the 8-inch factory touchscreen. The factory radio opening is a quarter-inch too small to fit an aftermarket radio. Metra has designed a trim panel to go over the factory dash after a little cutting to make the factory radio opening wide enough. To avoid a wiring mess and to make this a plug and play install, use the 40-EU55 amplified antenna adapter and the new XSVI-6523-NAV AXXESS interface.
