Wet Leisure Marketing From SPATA And BISHTA

BEING HELD AS PART OF SPATEX 2014 AT THE JAGUAR EXHIBITION HALL, RICOH ARENA IN COVENTRY, THE MUCH CELEBRATED INDUSTRY-WIDE ANNUAL AWARDS EVENING IS FAST APPROACHING AND IS SET TO BE BETTER THAN EVER!

A

wards judging took place in December 2013 and the winners will be announced on Sunday 2 February 2014. The SPATA

and BISHTA awards are an opportunity to promote to consumers nationwide, the exceptional standards, design and customer service which reflects all that is great about the British and Irish wet leisure industry. In place ready to maximise this opportunity, The British Swimming Pool Federation (BSPF) has appointed Sallie Golding as their PR and Marketing Manager.

“As the voice of the wet leisure industry, we work together with our members to improve industry standards for the benefit of the con sumer,” said Chris Hayes BSPF Managing Director. To drive the industry consumer message, Sallie Golding joins the British Swimming Pool Federation (BSPF) with over 13 years commercial PR and Marketing experience working with the photographic retail franchising group, Snappy Snaps. She pairs this with her grounding in retail, cutting her teeth on the shopfloor and working her way up through

the managerial ranks of the Arcadia group. Sallie now brings her specialisms to the wet leisure industry as PR & Marketing Manager for the BSPF, SPATA and BISHTA, focusing on the consumer message and promoting the industry for the benefit of all members. And plans are already coming to fruition. Launched at the end of the year, BISHTA have evolved and relaunched its logo, to reflect the wider work of the trade association.

In addition, since Sallie took on her new position in September 2013, she has worked on developments in consultation with the Pool (and Spa) Industry Promotions committee, to design and develop the new consumer facing websites for SPATA and BISHTA. “I have been set the goal of developing the consumer message, which not only works for the benefit of SPATA and BISHTA members, but for the whole of the wet leisure industry,” said Sallie. “We have an amazing wet leisure industry, comprising so many companies who strive for the best and offer an outstanding service. My aim is to develop our consumer channels and reach the public through their everyday lives and interests to showcase the ownership and healthy maintenance of pools, hot tubs and swim spas.” To be part of SPATA and BISHTA, membership is simple to instigate, and the benefits are exceptional, as well as building an ever-growing, even-stronger voice of the industry. Please visit www.spata.co.uk and/or www.bishta.co.uk to join today! Plus, come along and meet the team on Stand 508 at SPATEX.
