HOT TUB & SWIM SPA NEWS Elite Spas Go From Strength-to-Strength

December proved to be a busy but important month for Kevin and Issy Sanger, owners of Yeovil based Elite Spas. Over a two day period, the company which distributes the all American made Sunbelt Spas range of hot tubs and swim spas hosted a number of key events. First up was the official opening of Sunbelt House, their fantastic new purpose built UK Distribution Centre, an investment that the couple are rightly proud of and something that they see as key to the continued success of the Somerset business. Guests invited to the launch of the facility enjoyed a champagne reception and food in a relaxed and friendly environment. As well as being able to display some of the Elite Spas range, the new premises also provides the setting for Tranquility Yeovil, a new beauty salon and spa that was recently launched and which is already proving to be a real success, with bookings for the wide variety of treatments on offer already taking off. Female guests made the most of these onsite facilities and were pampered by Tranquility staff while male guests could enjoy an aqua massage on one of only four Aqua massagers

in the UK that are available to clients. For the men in attendance, it was then off for some clay pigeon shooting at Southern Counties Shooting Club. Despite a mixed ability group, the competition was fierce and the final standings were close, but ‘novice’ Chris Williams of Elite Spas & Leisure (SW) Ltd literally had the win in his sights. The day concluded with an ever growing group of guests enjoying a fantastic meal, plenty of laughs and a drink or two at locals favourite the Crown & Victoria Inn at Tintinhull. Day two saw the group move on to the well attended dealer conference, located at the Cricket St. Thomas Hotel in Chard, venue of the popular sitcom ‘To The Manor Born’. Elite Spas dealers from across the country heard Kevin Sanger report substantial growth figures for the brand with Kent Based Goodwins Hot Tubs of Margate winning an award for the best performing dealer, closely followed by Elite Spas & Leisure (SW) Ltd who also won an award for displaying the most effort in the previous year. The audience then listened to a number of talks and provided input on a range of subjects which included marketing, social media and water treatment systems for hot tubs. Bob Markiton, owner of Sunbelt Spas also gave an insight as to what the brand has in store for the future and presented Kevin and Issy with an International Distributor Award Of Excellence in recognition for their amazing efforts over the last 12 months and previous years. The busy but enjoyable two days finished with guests enjoying a black tie ‘Murder Mystery’ evening at the hotel.
