1964
Mary H. Coutant, Torrington, Conn., Oct. 9, 2012. Coutant served as the director of the Winchester Youth Service Bureau in Winsted for close to 30 years. She was dedicated to giving chil- dren a safe and happy childhood and spent the majority of her life doing so.
Sara (Freiman) Goodman (G), Hartford, Conn., Feb. 20, 2013. Goodman was an assistant profes- sor, as well as an adjunct profes- sor of psychology, at Springfield College. She also served as a guidance specialist at Cathedral High School in Springfield, Mass. She is survived by her four, 17 grandchildren, and multiple great-grandchildren.
Annette H. Heyman (G), Longmeadow, Mass., Jan. 04, 2013. Heyman spent 45 years as an x-ray technician, and eventu- ally became chief of x-ray at Western Massachusetts Hospital in Westfield. She is survived by her brother Martin and his family.

Susan (Pavlovich) Dickerman, Ashland, Mass., Feb. 14, 2013. Dickerman was an elementary school special education teacher, Christian educator, and youth leader. She traveled across the United States, Europe, and South America on missions with her youth groups throughout her life. She is survived by her brother.
Eve D. Dolgin (G), Saint Augustine, Fla., April 13, 2013. Dolgin was an English teacher at Longmeadow (Mass.) High School for 24 years. She is survived by her three children and six grand- children.

Sylvia (Zuroff) Fischer (G), Richey, Mont., Dec. 4, 2012. Fischer taught physical education and coached at the University of Idaho before moving to Richey, Mont., and teaching in the local schools there. She and her husband lived on and operated a ranch. Fischer is survived by her husband Ernest and her two siblings.
Gordon D. Wade, Syracuse, N.Y., Dec. 27, 2012. Wade taught and coached at Springfield College and then spent several years in the restaurant business before dedicating the rest of his life to feeding the hungry and the homeless. He is survived by his four children, sisters, and several grandchildren.

Earl T. Erikson (G), Longmeadow, Mass., March 22, 2013. Erikson served in the U.S. Navy and, for 38 years, was a history teacher in the Springfield (Mass.) Public School system. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth and his brother.
John Groener, Acton, Mass., July 7, 2013. Groener worked for the space program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology on the Apollo 17 Manned Spacecraft Mission and later founded a computer consult- ing firm, Edge Data Corporation. He is survived by his wife Jill, his sister, two daughters, and four grandchildren.
Daniel Mosher, Mount Shasta, Calif., Dec. 16, 2012. Mosher raised purebred German shepherd show dogs and often judged dog shows across California. He had a love for many types of animals and could also be found riding and training horses. Mosher moved to Mount Shasta and opened and operated his own brokerage firm, Mosher Commercial Brokerage. He is survived by his two sons.
Thomas F. Dignam (G ’69), Long Beach, Calif., Jan. 15, 2013. Dignam was a psychologist and an avid collector of books and postcards. He is survived by his wife Laurie, three children, and five grandchildren.
Peter W. Marshall, Trenton, N.J., Jan. 26, 2013. Marshall is survived by his wife Margaret, his two sons, eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Sharon L. Rupp, Graham, N.C., March 27, 2013. Rupp worked as an assistant dean of students at the State University of New York in Fredonia before returning to school to get her degree in nurs- ing. She then worked at the Duke University Medical School in the ob-gyn department for most of her career. Rupp is survived by her brother.

Carole A. Jenkins, Brighton, Mich., March 11, 2013. Jenkins was an elementary school princi- pal for many years and worked a great deal with children with disabilities. She is survived by her brother, two sons, and four grandchildren.

Peter V. Mazzaro, Hampden, Maine, April 9, 2013. Mazzaro was a member of the United States Coast Guard who, after his serv- ice, enjoyed a long career in reha- bilitation services. He is survived by his four children and nine grandchildren.

Miriam B. (Blitz) Genden, Morris Plains, N.J., Feb. 1, 2013. Genden is survived by her brother Melvin, two daughters, two grandchil- dren, and one great-grandchild.

Sally J. (Widmer) Post, Middlesex, N.Y., Nov. 7, 2012. Post was a lifelong teacher, and past president and advocate for the Auburn Teacher’s Association. She is survived by her father and her two siblings.

Donald A. Nadeau (G), Yarmouth, Mass., March 25, 2013. Nadeau is survived by his wife Judith, two children, and one grandson.

Clifford A. Bauer (G), Ashburnham, Mass., April 19, 2013. Early in his career, Bauer was a director of YMCAs in Illinois, New York, and Massachusetts. He eventually got involved in the wire and cable industry and founded his own company, Badger Wire and Cable in Fitchburg, Mass. He is survived by his wife Candace, his brother, two daughters and seven grandchil- dren.
Clyde B. Brooks Jr., Spokane, Wash., April 25, 2013. Brooks spent 35 years working in the banking business and lived in various places across the coun- try—from Massachusetts to California—during his lifetime. He is survived by his three children.

Mary T. Hannigan (G ‘79), Longmeadow, Mass., Jan. 05, 2013. Hannigan had a long career as a parks and recreation director in several towns in the greater Springfield area. She is survived by her two sons and four brothers.
