David M. Jones reunited with some Springfield College alumni at a ski weekend in Vermont at the home of Leigh Mallory in Colchester.

Marit (Henriksen) Sorensen retired in June 2011, and is now enjoying pottery classes and teaching modern dance and ballet at Terpsichore - The Dancerschool, in Harriman, N.Y. She also volunteers at Winslow Therapeutic Riding Center where she grooms, tacks, and leads horses for client lessons while learning to ride herself.

Patricia Fletcher continues her work as a voice, speech, and dialect coach for actors and business professionals. She is teaching in the MFA program at the New School for Drama at The New School, a university in New York City.
Norman Kosciusko was joined by Donald ’69, G’70, and Donna (Icken) Shaw ’73, G’78, and Jack
Robert E. Bouchard wrote in to say that his daughter, Tori, plans to attend Springfield College.
1975
Michael Juppe ran his first marathon in 2001. This year, he completed marathons in Boston, Chicago, and Canton, Ohio. The race in Chicago marked his 25th marathon.
Diane E. Schumacher met up with Jack Vincent Grassetti ’79 at the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III outdoor track and field national championships, held at Howard Community College in Columbia, Md. Schumacher is the athletic director at Howard, and Grassetti is the athletic director at Springfield Technical Community College. The men’s track team at Howard

John Mistrangelo spoke at the National Association of Social Workers symposium on strategies for strengthening health care social work. Mistrangelo serves as vice president for operations at Adventist Behavioral Health in Rockville, Md.
Community College won the nationals, and became the first team from Howard to do so.
Paul Worth received the 2013 Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Football Coach of the Year Award. Worth is the North Shore Technical High School/Essex Agricultural & Technical High School football coach.
1976
Christine J. Davis received the lifetime achievement award from the Greater Columbus Tennis Association for her contribution teaching and coaching tennis in central Ohio.
Cindy Connelley earned a doctor of education degree from Tennessee State University in curriculum and instruction/teaching and learn- ing while serving on the faculty of the College of Health and Education at Husson University in Maine.

Jeanine (Bearce) Achin is the district executive director of the YMCA of Greater Providence. She is enrolled in the Springfield College executive master’s program and is working on her graduate project focused on summer learning loss. She recently traveled to Paris with her husband Tom.
