Bill Wells ran 36 miles for a fundraiser in honor of fallen Springfield Police Officer Kevin Ambrose, who was killed in the line of duty in June 2012. The 36 miles represented the 36 years Ambrose served as an officer.

Jared Backus (G’99) is the new associate head coach and the John B. and Ann M. Rodgers ’45 defensive coordinator for the Cornell University football team.


Jason Miller (G, G’99) has been named the head coach of the lacrosse program at St. John’s University.

Joseph Meeks has been working as a correctional counselor and case manager for the state of New Hampshire for 23 years. He and his wife just celebrated their 38th anniversary and they have four grown children and 10 grandchildren.


Todd Munn is the executive director of Adaptive Sports Foundation in Wyndham, N.Y.

Anne Gatewood is one of few doctors working in the non-surgi- cal treatment of varicose and spider veins, a procedure that has made major advancements in the last 15 years.
