In total we generated 1,239 votes from RAF personnel and their families. 881 (71%) via our online survey, and 358 (29%) during unit visits.
77% of the parti cipants were serving, of whom 25% were commissioned, a slight drop on the 2012 parti cipati on by commissioned offi cers.
35% (438) of the respondents were female, a slight increase on previous survey responses. The predominance of married personnel taking part was evident - 76% taking part were either married or in a Civil Partnership and around three quarters of respondents live in service accommodati on.
