“WE WILL BE HEARD” – What an important and strong statement this theme creates! We can imply multiple meanings of how this statement can guide our focus for the upcoming school year. “We will be heard” by politi- cians, administrators, community members, students, and other professions! The idea that WHAT we do is important and it has a strong message – the music, the working relationships we form with kids, the role our pro- grams play in our communities, and on, and on, and on… the possibilities are endless! northwest district #1 is proud to be represented by two fine performing ensembles. Congratulations to Dr. Jay Jones & the Platte County High School Wind Ensemble and Mr. Dustin McKinney and the East Buchanan Chamber Choir for being selected for this prestigious honor!
