Paul Fosh Auctions is number one in Wales again after topping the national auction charts for the number of properties sold in a year in 2012. The Newport auction house
maintained its numerical sales supremacy after selling 308 properties out of 400 lots offered in the 12 months to December 2012 at a total sales value of £16,527,311, at its eight auctions held throughout last year. The annual auction
sales chart is compiled by UK industry experts the Essential Information Group and published in association with Estates Gazette. John Francis, of
Carmarthen, came second with its number of sales 207, totalling £18,067,000 at 11 auctions and Seel & Co, of Cardiff, were third with 180 sold from 208 offered for a total of £13,011,250 at seven auctions. The EIG chart shows that the total

Robin Hall has been appointed managing director of leading South Wales fi nancial services group Kymin. Robin, previously Kymin’s operations
director, takes over the key role at the expanding business from Gerald Davies who becomes chairman of the Newport-based Kymin Group. Gerald Davies said: “I have every
confi dence in Robin. He has been with Kymin for almost eight years and I felt the time was right for a change at the top. “During the time that Robin has been

extremely excited to be taking over the mantle of MD from Gerald but there is no doubt he is going to be a tough act to follow. “The whole team is looking forward to
2013 with confi dence. Kymin is currently going through a rebranding exercise, having a new website and a few other important innovations will all add to further improve our clients’ experience.” Robin’s fi rst appointment after taking up
the reins of MD at the fi rm, was to install Chris Taylor, aged 34, as Kymin operations director a role he had previously held. Chris, from Newport, who has been with Kymin for six years, was most recently Kymin sales director after progressing from head of paraplanning.
