WELCOME to the first 2013 edition of Carmarthenshire News - and an important year for the people of Carmarthenshire. Key decisions have to be made to improve
health services following our 'Your Health, Your Future' consultation. I was truly inspired by the passionate response to our consultation. We will continue this
conversation with you in 2013 to help you understand decisions made to create safe, sustainable services. I would also like to thank our dedicated staff. In this edition, you can read
about their national recognition; discover how to live healthier, smoke-free lives; and learn about medicine wastage which, as a Pharmacist, is close to my heart! Finally, can I thank you for your interest in our public services - let's make
a New Year's resolution to share Carmarthenshire News with family and friends. Happy New Year Chris Martin Chairman, Hywel Dda Health Board Chairman, Carmarthenshire Local Service Board
