A QUITE ANCHIEVEMENT Awards celebrate the city and businesses that make it thrive
The Glasgow Business Awards 2012 saw more than 500 guests turn out to celebrate the city’s achievements and successes over the past 12 months. Now in its 15th year, the Glasgow Business Awards continues to grow in stature and, as this year’s attendance demonstrated, has firmly established itself as the premier business event in the city.
Big winners on the night included SgurrEnergy
who won the Glasgow Business Award for International Trade as well as the Bank of Scotland’s Award for Most Outstanding Business and Rhythm Base, who was awarded the title of Glasgow’s Favourite Business. The awards ceremony concluded with
Scott Grier OBE, Chairman of Loganair, being honoured with the Glasgow Chamber of

Commerce Award for Lifetime Achievement. Adding to the huge success of the evening, the charity prize draw raised more than £5,000 for Save the Children. Stuart Patrick, Chief Executive of Glasgow
