The Els Club Dubai The Els Club at Dubai Sports City is the fi rst golf course in the Middle East designed by US Open and Dubai Desert Classic Champion Ernie Els. Stretching 7,538 yards with four sets of tees providing golfers with a selection of lengths from which to play, the links-style course is located adjacent to the luxury Victory Heights residential development. A 60,000-square-foot Mediterranean-style clubhouse will open in 2012, boasting a private lounge, state-of-the-art meeting and conference facilities and a choice of restaurants and bars, including the renowned The Big Easy steak house.

The Address Montgomerie Dubai Designed by Desmond Muirhead and Colin Montgomerie, this is another fi ve-star course that is a fi rm favourite with international visitors. The course design has embraced a number of Scottish links traditions, making it a unique experience in this part of the world. One hole that always provokes comment is the par-three 13th which is not only designed in the shape of the UAE, but is also the largest single golfi ng green in the world. The par-fi ve 18th however, offers a more classic test and, at 656 yards, is considered a monster that defi es even the best player to hit the green in two.
