ZAYED UNIVERSITY CONVENTION CENTRE Situated away from the bustle of the city at Dubai Academic City, Zayed University Convention Centre is only 20 minutes from Dubai International Airport and Dubai Festival City and it is the region’s first purpose-built convention facility for corporate events and meetings. MEYDAN GRANDSTAND & MEYDAN EVENTS ARENA Home of the world’s richest horse race, the iconic Meydan Grandstand is defined by its magnificent cantilevered crescent roof featuring 7,000 square metres of curved solar and titanium panels. However, the complex boasts equally impressive facilities for meetings and events outside of the horse racing season. Home to 72 luxurious purpose-built
suites, the grandstand includes features such as a 100-metre LED trackside screen, extensive infield and Apron space, plus a unique Sky Bubble with panorama views.
The Sky Bubble consists of three levels
that can be accessed separately, offering a lounge and rooftop terrace venue that can in total cater for up to 3,700 guests, while the Parade Ring restaurant offers fine dining for up to 800, located on the ground floor with private room facilities as well as a lounge and bar area. The Turf Lounge and Falcon Lounge have capacities of between 700 and 750. In addition, there is a number of
hospitality terrace suites on levels six and seven that include private balcony areas with stunning race course views, while outside, The Apron is located in front of the Grandstand and offers a flexible space that can be used for up to 18,000 guests for concerts, exhibitions, gala dinners and more. One bonus is free WiFi available
throughout the grandstand. For larger gala events, the Meydan
Events Arena is available, located near the Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa with a capacity for up to 55,000 – ideal for concerts, exhibitions, sporting events and the mega-corporate extravaganza. Meydan also has an IMAX theatre with
a capacity for 562 people. An ideal venue for film showings, performances and other events that require theatre seating, the Meydan IMAX theatre has one of the largest screens in the Middle East.

venue of 452 square metres with dual projection and plasma screens that can cater for up to 400 theatre-style and can also be set up for VIP meetings with a special hollow oval table that features a voting system, built-in microphones and power feeds for up to 25 delegates. On the upper level, there are eight smaller
conference and breakout rooms of between 110 and 120 square metres in size, two of which are set up to host video conferences and all of which feature natural daylight. Other facilities include a VIP majlis,
press centre with space for up to 100 and pre-function areas on both lower and upper levels that can be used for coffee breaks or for small exhibitions. A dining room can cater for up to 250 for a buffet lunch and boasts courtyard views.
