BELMONT, THE FAIR MAGICIAN, HONORED
Federation member, Al Belmont, well-known Fair Magician, has been honored as cover subject of the October 2012 edition of The Linking Ring—the official publication of the International Brotherhood of Magi- cians and one of the largest circula-
tion Magic magazines in the world. The magazine described Belmont’s show as ―In the tradition of
Thurston and Blackstone, Belmont’s show for family audiences introduces a new generation to the thrill of Grand Illusion. ―Big TV style magic performed on Belmont’s deluxe portable stage, lots of audience participation and live domestic animals add up to a fast-moving show that draws and hold SRO audiences of adults, teens, and children. Belmont expressed thanks and said that the recognition was
largely due to the Fairs who have booked his show and all of those who have worked in his shows or contributed their efforts and ideas. Belmont and his partner, his wife Suzanne, will return t Greater
Gulf State Fair and Broward County Fair this October & Novem- ber. They will appear at the Manatee County Fair in January, 2013.
Heidi Herriott‘s HorseTrix Training Series Coming to RURAL TV!
Heidi Herriott’s HorseTrix, a one-of-a-kind horse training tele- vision series, will premiere on the RURAL TV Network begin- ning in early October. HorseTrix will provide viewers with step-by- step instruction on how to train their horses to present such popular tricks such as ―The Yes,‖ ―No,‖ ―Smile,‖ and ―Bow.‖ In addition, each unique and entertaining episode of Horse- Trix will also offer tips on gen-
eral horsemanship. ―I am a third generation professional entertainer, horse trainer, and horse lover,‖ explains Her- riott who performs in more than 300 shows each year at equestrian events, circuses, rodeos, fairs, theme parks, and zoos. ―My new TV series, HorseTrix, gives me the opportunity to share my knowledge and experience with other horse owners, and hopefully provide another means for them to enjoy the interactions with their horse.‖ Viewers can tune-in to watch HorseTrix on RU- RAL TV on the Dish Satellite network channel 232.
