the Executive Director It’s been a great Summer for the Federation – we had a fantastic Summer Workshop in Palmetto hosted by the Manatee County Fair. The staff and Board definitely rolled
out the red carpet to make it a memorable event! If you haven’t been to Summer Workshop you should think about it for next year. It is a chance to really get to meet and talk to people from other Fairs in a very relaxed, infor- mal atmosphere.
We also had another great Fair trip – Fair Trip 2012! We visited 3 New Eng- land Fairs in 4 days and brought back a multitude of new ideas. You REALLY should think about joining us next year – wherever we go, I can assure you, you will get lots of new ideas and have a blast!

2 Meeting Notice
The Florida Federation of Fairs Board of Directors will meet on Friday, Dec 7th at 9:00 am at the Comfort Inn & Suites, Eustis, FL.
This year’s Annual Directory has been published and distributed. A special thanks to Doris Graska – she spent a tremendous amount of time editing the Directory to make sure it was right. Thanks also to Rita DeMier for doing the layout for the cover with this year’s Photo Contest winners. The Directory wouldn’t have happened without help from both of you!
Thanks to a suggestion made at Summer Workshop, we are now sharing the results of all the questions you send in with all our Fairs. Got something on your mind? Wonder how other Fairs are handling it? Send in your question and we will send it out to all our Florida Fairs for their response!
Be sure to mark your calendars for the 2013 Convention – May 16 – 18th in Naples! We will be at the Waldorf Astoria this year - it is a beautiful facility and a great location for the convention. The Golf Tournament will be AWE- SOME as well - you won’t want to miss it – May 15th!
If there is anything I can do for you – please don’t hesitate to give me a call and thanks again for all your support!
Don’t forget –YOU are the Federation and our organization is here to serve you!
Sincerely, Lisa Hinton, Executive Director, CFE 2013 Convention – Mark Your Calendar
