Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition Opens March 14th
What’s New at The Fair™ in 2013? From March 14th through 31st, the Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition will be open-
ing its gates to South Florida’s largest and most popular family event. Each spring, The Fair provides eighteen days of outrageous Fair food, thrilling rides, youth agricultural programs and education, student exhibits, concerts, games and live entertainment. And, as always, a portion of The Fair proceeds are donated back into the Miami-Dade County community to support student education, student athletic competitions and the agricultural interests of the county. Fridays ROCK!, Saturdays LIVE! and Sunday FunDays A-LIVE! promise to bring concert and special event entertainment never before seen to The Main Street Stage
and throughout the fairgrounds. Complete information regarding headline performers, blockbuster shows, an all-new giant attraction on the East Midway, strolling entertainers, great offers on general admission and concessions, participating non-profit organizations and all things related to the 2013 Fair will be released very soon. In cooperation with the Miami-Dade County Public Schools, The Fair’s Competitive Exhibits Department will once again be hosting
the enormously popular Robotics Competition. Plus, over forty other departments will be holding their respective academic and artistic competitions and exhibitions throughout The Fair. Last year, almost 40,000 student exhibits were displayed with $285,000 awarded in academic scholarships, cash premiums and awards. The Express Access Pass was a huge success in 2012 and is back in 2013. Guests will be able to enjoy all one hundred midway
rides faster than ever with their Express Access Pass. The Pass allows Guests to board all their favorite rides in an expedited manner through the Express Lane. The Express Access Pass will be priced at $15.00 each and available each operating day of The Fair at Ride Ticket Booths and will soon be on-sale at
www.fairexpo.com. The Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to student education, student athletic com-
petitions and promoting agriculture in Miami-Dade County. Its premier spring event, The Fair, hosts over 500,000 Guests annually. In its 62 year history, The Fair has proudly hosted millions of guests and has given back to the community over $10 million in academic scholarships, cash premiums and awards.
