The Kimberley Tavern goes to extraordinary lengths to give added value to its local community. Through an extensive programme of fundraising events, the owners hope to raise over £20,000 in 2012. Their focus on catering to all generations in the community sees them run regular Golden Oldie events, Christmas parties, weekly karaoke and DJ
nights, as well as live sport on eight screens. A real focus on training and education helps staff realise their potential.

The Parkville Blantyre
A fantastic example of an outlet offering something for everyone in the community – all generations are guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome by the staff at The Parkville. With events regularly staged to raise funds for local charities, the pub is known to play a key community role in times of diffi culty as well as celebration. During harsh weather, the staff pulled out the stops to ensure their most vulnerable neighbours received a hot meal, delivering 1000 meals over a ten-day period.
