several $100 added classes and good pay back. That is a nice fair to show at because even though there are midway rides and exhibits at the fair, the show pen is fairly out of the way compared to some of the other fairs which makes us performance riders happy! As the summer moves into fall, we have Welland Fair, followed by Ancaster Fair and then rounding out the show season, Simcoe Fair and Burford Fair. Thank you to Amber Gilbert and her crew for hosting us in Welland; Peter Emick and his crew for the annual point award show at Ancast- er; Sarah Cookson and Louise Harris for organizing Simcoe and Burford. Run- ning a show is not always easy, but thanks to the great volunteers, we have fantas- tic shows to go to.
Once all of the shows are done, the points will be tallied and awards will be handed out. We are work- ing on the date and location of our awards ceremony for 2012 and will let you know as soon as possible. Hand- ing out the awards also sig- nifies election time. We had a great executive this year and would love to have even more people join us! Please consider becoming a direc- tor for 2013 and come out to the general meeting. The more people who help us out, the better we can become. It is really hard for the same few people to be running the association. I hope that we have some new people helping us out. Don’t forget to stay in touch with us through Face- book, Twitter, or our web- site!

It was really nice to see some of our members from “up north” compet- ing...Michelle Belanger, Lynn Marselles and Don Tompson. Thank you for supporting the WHAO. Most of them are now eligi- ble for year end awards

The weekend following Trout Creek was Orangeville Fair. Finally, the weather was beautiful! Don Stauffer and the com- mittee did a wonderful job of the show. There were
