All pupils at our school are full boarders aged 11-18 years of age. A non-selective school, we have an excellent academic record and specialise in science, sport, outdoor education and music while placing emphasis on leadership, self-discipline, respect and team work.
Set in 150 acres of glorious Kent countryside between Dover and Canterbury, pupils feel safe and secure in a close-knit community where their friends and teachers will understand military life. Children at our school are never bored as full boarding means everyone stays each weekend and enjoy a wide range of activities.
Our pupils are fully involved in Combined Cadet Force from year 9 to 13, and they have many opportunities to develop their leadership and team working skills. Military parades and ceremonies remain at the heart of our school.

Last Christmas the school choir was featured on the Chris Evans show on BBC radio 2 and on ITV’s This Morning having recorded a version of the Military wives song ‘Wherever You Are’ and the school’s Military Band performed at the Chatham’s Historic Dockyard to play at the Submariners’ Beating the Retreat and Ceremonial Sunset in May 2012.
What are the costs? You only pay for boarding costs of £9975 per annum (£3325 per term) and if you qualify for CEA this will mean that school fees could be less than £1000 per year. Your child’s laundry, meals and exam fees are all covered in our yearly charge.
We offer ‘Taster Weekends’ if your child would like to experience boarding life to see if they like it and we encourage you to visit us to see what an extraordinary school we are.
