Alba Pools has agreed a new working partnership with STA, the UK’s leading authority on pool plants and is to take over the new pool plant programme from
STAadmin.co.uk
The pool plant programme is designed by STA to help domestic and commercial customers control and maintain the correct water chemistry levels in their pool or spa. It allows subscribers to input chlorine, bromine or pH pool readings in real time. Within seconds, the data is analysed and presented in a simple graphical format with a traffic light system denoting the status of the water. The results are then instantly emailed to Alba for follow-up, with all immediate actions highlighted. Theo Millward, Head of IT at STA, said: “
STAadmin.co.uk’s Pool Plant programme simplifies the process of analysing pool water testing; no training is required and it can be used with existing pool testing equipment. “The Alba partnership represents a fantastic opportunity to bring our revolutionary digital products to a wider audience,” explained Theo.
Nigel Taylor, Marketing Director from Alba Pools
said: “By working alongside STA, we are able to offer both domestic and commercial customers a cost-effective solution to pool and spa plant management. By being automatically notified of pool plant issues,
STAadmin.co.uk enables us to work quickly with customers to provide a solution – often before they are even aware there is an issue. “For our commercial customers, it also enables resources to be deployed more effectively, and most importantly, provides real time data to help them maintain safe pool environments and raise standards, as well as promote best practice by ensuring they are compliant with the latest regulations.” The web based software has been designed to help leisure operators manage and keep track of staff qualifications, training, water quality and safety.

Gary left Scotland in the 80’s and Phil moved from Worcestershire to Queensland in the mid 90’s Said Phil: “The system ticks all the health, eco friendly and economy boxes as a safe alternative sanitiser. It has the added assurance for customers that it was tested and certified by NSF international in the United States as a reliable stand alone sanitiser system. “We believe the product is ideally suited to the UK market. It is especially ideal for the large indoor pool market that the UK has due to the fact it greatly reduces and eliminates the odours and corrosion caused by conventional pool sanitisers.” The company’s main focus is the residential market but they also have some notable commercial clients and recently dispatched a bulk order for a new resort development on the island of Mauritius where each bure has an individual freshwater plunge pool.
