THEATREACCESS
Students from Ross Global Academy show off their Anything Goes Playbills at the all-student matinee.
Through Theatre Access, we provide student groups from throughout the tri-state area with free and discounted matinee tickets to Roundabout productions.
■ This is the first time attending a Broadway show for many students, and Roundabout provides Upstage Playgoer’s Guides to help them get the most out of the experience.
■ This season, 3,736 students experienced Roundabout productions and participated in post-show discussions with cast and creative team members.
■ Whether discussing how a new play is developed with playwright Julia Cho or learning about the preparation required for a Broadway musical with Tony Award® winner Sutton Foster, Theatre Access participants learned that the arts are not only a conversation, but one that they are able to participate in.
DURING THE 2010/11 SCHOOL YEAR: ■ 7,156 free or discounted tickets were distributed to students. ■ 73 pre- and post-show workshops were provided for participants.
■ 14 post-show talkbacks were hosted by Roundabout actors and creative teams.
■ 7 school groups from the tri-state area were provided with tickets to Roundabout shows through the Theatre Development Fund (TDF).
Students enter the Stephen Sondheim Theatre for an all-student matinee of Anything Goes.
