TEACHING ARTIST ACCOMPLISHMENTS
RTC Teaching Artists and classroom teachers participate in a professional development workshop.
Education@Roundabout programs are implemented by a group of 39 specialized Teaching Artists who pair with 163 educators. The collaborative process between Teaching Artists and school educators is the cornerstone of an effective partnership.
ALL TEACHING ARTISTS:
■ Are assigned based on the needs of the school. Teaching Artists specialize in areas like directing, acting, playwriting, musical theatre writing, costume design, lighting design, stage management, and sound design.
■ Hold Bachelor’s degrees and 70% hold Master’s degrees from institutions such as NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Yale University, Columbia University and Carnegie Mellon University.
■ Undergo intensive training twice yearly and attend monthly curriculum meetings throughout the school year.
DSPOTLIGHTANIEL ROBERT SULLIVAN TEACHINGARTIST
■ Holds a Master’s Degree in Acting and Directing, and three Bachelor’s Degrees in Acting, Secondary Education and Comparative Literature.
■ Experienced acting professional, most recently in the Toronto company of Jersey Boys.
■ 11 years as an Education@Roundabout Master Teaching Artist and dedicated to dynamic teaching as a means of creating and nurturing a lifelong love and working knowledge of live theatre.
