EDUCATION@ROUNDABOUT IS COMMITTED TO STAYING ON THE CUTTING EDGE OF ARTS EDUCATION BY ■ Being an active Board member of the NYC Arts in Education Roundtable; ■ Serving on the NYC Department of Education’s Arts Education Advisory Task Force; ■ Serving as the New York State representative for the American Alliance for Theatre and Education;
■ Complying with Federal, State and City arts learning standards, including the NYC Department of Education’s Blueprint for Arts Learning and New York State’s Common Core Standards Initiative.
SPECIAL HIGHLIGHTS OF THE 2010/11 ACADEMIC YEAR:
■ RTC Education Director Greg McCaslin was invited to give the keynote address at the SEANSE Arts Education Conference in Oslo, Norway.
■ Associate Education Director Jennifer DiBella was awarded the Dina Rees Evans Theatre In Our Schools Award by the American Alliance for Theatre and Education.
■ Education Program Manager Aliza Greenberg and Associate Education Director Jennifer DiBella were guest lecturers at the City College of New York program for Educational Theatre.
■ Roundabout hosted the 2011 New York State Theatre in Our Schools Conference at the American Airlines Theatre.
■ Greg McCaslin presented at the Partnership for After School Education (PASE) Conference at Pace University and participated on a panel at the Theatre Communications Group (TCG) National Conference in Los Angeles.
