Hair meets wardrobe

Toni&Guy has long been renowned as a pioneer and innovator within the hair industry, working backstage at London Fashion Week for 15 seasons providing the link between high fashion and hairdressing. Following the acquisition of the trade mark for consumer products by Unilever in 2010, M&H Plastics and Unilever have developed a stunning, fashion inspired collection of haircare and styling products. The innovative new packaging (above) features a high-build varnish printed onto the text to give a high gloss premium embossed effect which contrasts with the co-ex matt finish of the HDPE bottles. All caps are colour coordinated and the caps on the 250ml tubular bottles are tampo printed with a crest on the top giving an extra touch of luxury. The collection includes the following products: 250ml HDPE tubular bottles with double-wall X-press caps, 200ml, 150ml and 75ml HDPE tubular bottles plus spray/lotion pumps, 50ml HDPE tubular bottles with double wall screw caps and 40mm diameter polyethylene tubes. Bridget O'Lone of Unilever said: “The new collection is unique with end-look, fashion inspired product collections. Given Toni&Guy's distinct British heritage and eclectic sense of style, there was no better venue to launch the new collection than London Fashion Week.” M&H has a portfolio of over 1,000 products plus a full custom moulding service. M&H Plastics specialises in the production and decoration of high-quality plastic bottles, jars, flexible tubes and closures. In a consumer-driven environment distinctive packaging is vital, and M&H offers expertise in developing packaging solutions for markets where quality and style are critical to a product’s success, such as personal care products, pharmaceutical, pet care, food and household products. They have a range of over 1000 standard products, and are also able to offer custom moulding of exclusive designs with a low cost of entry. Virtually everything is conducted in-house, on site - from concept design, through toolmaking to production, artwork and decoration. According to the company, packaging technologists go to M&H for inspired design, consistent quality, dynamic service, flexibility, and the ability to come in on time and on budget. They are constantly researching new technologies and materials, and continuously strive to improve their product portfolio. 8For more information please call +44 (0)1502 715518, email marketing@mhplastics.com or visit www.mhplastics.com.
