Johnny English: Reborn Rating:

Rated: PG Cert. Duration: 1hr 41min

This time, Johnny English is the most unlikely intelligence officer ever seen in Her Majesty’s Secret Service. Now he must stop a group of international assassins before they eliminate a world leader, causing worldwide chaos. Since the last film, we are told that he has been honing his “specialist” skills in a secret place in Asia. However when MI7, KGB and the CIA call for help, English must

adopt the typical gadgets and gizmos (which inevitably he cant use) to save the world. However we all know the first film is a “Bond” spoof spy movie. This sequel fails to be any different. Bottom line, this is an easy to watch piece of British entertainment, which is great for small children. Older ones will notice that it isn’t as much of a strong comedy as you would expect. The most disappointing part of this film is that you know Rowan Atkinson is much more capable of showcasing the unique comedic talent that he has made into an art form. Sadly, he doesn’t get a chance in this film.
