The Three Musketeers 3D Rating:

Rated: 12A Cert. Duration: 1hr 51min

The fiery young D’Artagan joins forces with the redundant three Musketeers in this reboot of a classic. They must stop the evil Richelieu, Buckingham and Milady. The swashbuckling action adventure is given a 3-D update. In a poor attempt to jump on the bandwagon that the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise created. This slapdash film is relentless. There are constant fight

sequences and nauseating slow motion moments that “supposedly” heighten tension, this film doesn’t stay true to the original plot by Dumas. The story is removed in an attempt to bring the concept into the modern world, however it unsuccessfully does this. It is clear to see that The Three Musketeers, is now a combination of many films all squeezed into a CGI spectacular based in 17th century France.
