PRIME MOVERS AND MULCHERS

Gathering information and actively seeking input from our user base not only allows us to develop better machines, but helps us further develop the hand-in-hand relationships that Barko is all about – Barko President, Tom Becker

Tigercat has developed three mulcher carriers for clearing applications: the M726E rubber tyre mulcher, the M822C track- based swing machine and the 480 track mulcher. Tigercat’s expertise at designing and building productive, reliable and efficient machines for full-time forest duty

translates well to mulching and vegetation management applications. Few other mulcher carrier manufacturers have the depth of knowledge and experience necessary to fabricate components and design complex hydraulic and electronic systems that will survive serious and

continuous forest duty cycles, according to the manufacturer. Tigercat’s 4-wheel drive 300 hp mulcher is based on the extremely durable and reliable 726 series feller buncher, a machine that Tigercat has been manufacturing and refining for nearly 20 years. The latest standard features to be

added to the M726E include a rear camera system and the automatic boom float system to reduce operator input and fatigue and allow the mulching attachment to automatically follow the contours of undulating terrain. Owners and operators of the
