Vectorworks Designer 2012 Nemetschek Vectorworks

The latest edition of the Vectorworks Designer software contains all the functionality of the Vectorworks Design Series products, including the Vectorworks Spotlight CAD software and building design application Vectorworks Architect. The program has been created to maximise flexibility by offering freeform 3D modeling capabilities,

efficient workgroups, easy file translation, and superior 2D graphics and presentation details. The software is versatile, allowing users to create, model, and present with one application. Vectorworks software has a comprehensive set of tools to support an entire design practice. Using the Parasolid 3D modeling engine, the program can tackle complex models, while BIM capabilities assist in streamlining costs, analszing materials, and increasing efficiency. The package also includes an improved version of the Renderworks application with the CINEMA 4D render engine to create high quality renderings for presentations. The 2D and 3D capabilities of the Vectorworks are designed for ease of use, with features like IES data specifying for lights to make visualising models more intuitive and accurate. The Video Screen Objects function allows designers to place lenses based on distance, make screens glow, and calculate lens sizes based on the projector and screen location. Additionally, the new Soft Goods Object enables you to easily create curtain, border, and pipe-and-drape models. www.vectorworks.net
