WHAT PRECAUTIONS DO YOU TAKE TO ENSURE YOUR SAFETY AT WORK ? Firstly, I always wear safety shoes and gloves. I also use a mask and glasses when necessary. While fi lling a tyre, a safety cage is a must. I always use a support stand along with a jack to ensure stability. Generally, we don’t accept very old tyres


for repairing. This is safer for customers also Also, I regularly check the condition of the tools and machinery. Safety is always our fi rst concern.


DO YOU HAVE FAMILY BACK HOME? I have a wife and four children back home in Manila.


WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN THE FUTURE? This job is very good for me, but eventually I will have to return home. I would like to continue to work with Bridgestone back there, but don’t know what opportunities there would be as I have only seen independent dealers. My dream is to have my own business and


maybe that would have everything under one roof. I am a qualifi ed mechanic, so I would like to have tyre, air-conditioning services, mechanical repair, electrical and body-repair all in one place. Of course this is just a dream but it would be nice to look forward to one day.
