Gambling Holidays Total Expenses

Total Income minus Total Expenses = Savings

The goal is to spend less then your income - if you spend more, try to make more money or look for areas to cut back. Savings should be at least 10% of your gross pay.

It might all look too tedious and troublesome writing down every penny received and spent. Family and friends might think you are crazy and laugh at you. Seeing what you spend every month might make you feel depressed or guilty or angry. That is good! It means you are taking responsibility and are on the road to financial empowerment. You have taken the first step. Congratulations! ■
