Vortice supplies Prometeo to Cornish engine house Vortice Ltd has supplied its Vort Prometeo heat recovery system to a contractor in Cornwall, Tee Ltd, to install within an old mine engine house at Wheal Kitty near St Agnes. Vort Prometeo is a heat recovery system designed to the highest environmental standards, with a tremendous heat exchange efficiency of up to 92%. It has Appendix Q eligibility when installed on a ground breaking Kitchen plus up to 8 additional wet rooms configuration. David Freeman, of


Tee, said: “Its installation at the Cornish engine house has had an added bonus, before the units were fitted the humidity was around 75-85% and after installation of the units it is now steady at around 50-55%.”

Electrorad are the sole U.K. importers of two electric heating systems, Aeroflow® Aeroflow®


and Digi-Line. is a German manufactured radiator with el-


ements encased within fireclay heat plates. The fire- clay provides a storage capability but also heats up very quickly and so is able to respond to thermostatic control requirements. Digi-Line is a Swedish manufac- tured thermal fluid filled radiator. Designed to look just like a central heating radiator and available in single panel and double panel models. The integral digital thermostat is accurate to +/- 0.1°C. Windows based software is available to program the system and is
