SIGN News Trade Signs UK just keeps getting better
Trade Signs have been making huge changes over the last year. As we all know the sign industry can be very demanding at times, from price, to quality, to deadlines and they have been putting in the systems to deal with these issues. With a detailed Quality Assurance Check List for
staff to use on each process of a job there is no room for human error. Every sign completed has to have a photograph taken of the job and packaging. There is also a CCTV camera system in place in every room of the Trade Signs factory to ensure that all standards are being met - from material being delivered to the full process of production - everything is captured to ensure Trade Signs UK are producing work to the highest standard. State of the art schedule systems have also been put in place so that what seems like the most impossible and tight deadlines can be achieved. These systems will be a major factor in helping the company to gain the accreditation of IS09001. Trade Signs UK is also investing heavily in energy saving

technology and products by recycling all material waste and using LED Modules with low energy consumption. Trade Signs say this has a knock on effect to its customers, immediately saving them money on their energy bills. Trade Signs is currently in the process of getting all energy and recycling procedures formally accredited with government organisations. The company is also focusing its time on quality of staff and is
currently working with an apprenticeship organisation and college to make sure its staff are all able to gain NVQ levels in sign making. Trade Signs customers will then have the comfort of knowing their signs have been manufactured by qualified sign makers with education and qualifications under their belts. They have also put in an application for the scheme Investing in People Standard. Steve Sandford, Sales and HR Manager comments: “We invest
in people, because those people are the ones that will help take our company and the sign industry forward to bigger and better things.” Trade Signs has recently been accepted as a member of the
British Sign and Graphic Association. They will be working with the BSGA to bring new ideas to life and to help the sign industry grow. Matt Driver the Company Director says: “I’m very pleased to be
a part of the BSGA. It is nice for our company to be recognised, as a respected and quality sign company.” Trade Signs UK will be exhibiting at the Sign & Digital
Exhibition this year. “It is the first time in a few years that they will take part,” Haylee Benton, Marketing Manager said. “We have some tricks up our sleeves for this year and are looking forward to telling people about them so come and visit us on stand B54.” For further information telephone Trade Signs on 01442 828 968 or visit
