PRODUCT News
With the release of its latest roll up, graphic systems supplier Eurostand Display is continuing with its new-year campaign to introduce new lines while substantially upgrading its existing range. The trade-only company, whose business serves all of Europe,
says the drive is in line with its policy of continuously growing and regenerating its portfolio. The latest system to get an overhaul is called STart3, and
Eurostand Display says it is available ex-stock for immediate shipping throughout the UK and Europe. The company’s International Account Manager, Sam Mooney
says: “The STart3 range of entry-level roll ups is set to be one of our most popular products of all time, differentiated from similar systems in the market by virtue of its superior quality, resilience to wear and tear and overall aesthetic appeal.” The roll up’s key improvement is a redesigned support pole
locking mechanism that gives the 2000 x 850mm graphic area a much cleaner visual outline. A specially-fabricated clip is housed just behind the top of the graphic support rail, thus enabling users to swiftly erect the graphic hanging system much more easily than before. The twin fold-away base support feet lend the STart3 excellent stability and a bespoke shoulder strap carry bag makes the system supremely portable. With its trade customers in mind, Eurostand Display supplies
every STart3 inside its own double-wall transit carton to safeguard against delivery damage and keep every unit in mint condition. Even more peace of mind comes from the five-year guarantee that accompanies all the company’s products. However, says Eurostand Display, the biggest benefit to its
customers is that the new product line remains at the same price point as its predecessor. As such, the firm anticipates a high demand for the STart3 because of its universal suitability for a wide range of
applications, including trade exhibitions, conferences and point of promotion (POP) locations. The system is available now for immediate despatch to
any sign or graphics supplier in the UK or, indeed, anywhere in continental Europe. For further information telephone Eurostand Display on +44 (0) 1277 350925 or visit

Fairfield launches new 6W LED lamps
Fairfield has just released a range of ultra bright and long lasting LED 6 Watt MR16. These LED lamps are the very latest in lighting technology and,
according to Fairfield, causing a big stir in the industry. Unlike LED lamps of the past, these new generation MR16 are as bright as a conventional 50W diachronic lamp. They come in a choice of colour temperatures to create the perfect effect.
As these lamps are a direct replacement for the old MR16
lamps they will fit into standard lamp holders and are the same size as existing lamps. The new LED lamps will also work with existing 12 volt transformers making it easier than ever to make the jump to the future. If you are installing or specifying a new project, Fairfield also offer new smaller, sleeker and less expensive DC power supply (replacement for old transformers) to compliment the stylish contemporary design of the new lamps. In these times of austerity, upgrading your 50W MR16 to new
6W LED MR16 is a fantastically simple way to save on electricity and maintenance. A 6W LED MR16 uses 85% less electricity than a standard 50 watt MR16 meaning it’s friendly to the environment as well as your finances. Due to health and safety regulations, staff in many
organisations’ are no longer allowed to change lamps. With the high cost of calling out a qualified electrician there is an instant saving. That saving is compounded as on average 6W LED MR16 last 10 times longer than 50W Diachronic. MR16. A lamp life of up to 50,000 hrs (approx five years) compared with up to 5,000 hrs with 50 watt MR16 lamps means far less lamp changes. Cutting costs and looking after the environment have become
themes in industry over the last few years and that trend does not look likely to be dying out any time soon. This is a very exciting product because it addresses both concerns without sacrificing style. For further information telephone Fairfield Displays & Lighting on 01252 813963 or visit
