Scottish Parliament project
Owen Kerr Signs has proudly produced and installed a number of signs for Committee Rooms at the Scottish Parliament. Proprietor Owen Kerr explains: “Last year we were
contacted by the Scottish Parliament and invited to design and manufacture a series of signs depicting famous Scots including Robert Burns, Alexander Fleming, David Livingstone, Mary Fairfax Somerville, James Clerk Maxwell and Adam Smith. “A representative of the Parliament had noticed
similar signs supplied by ourselves whilst on a visit to Goodrich in Prestwick.” Owen Kerr produced all the signs in-house in its
manufacturing facility in Ayr, which includes some of the latest signmaking and digital printing technology. Each sign features an image of a famous Scot and a little about them in both English and Gaelic, on polished acrylic which is fixed to an oak panel. Specialist fabric branding company, Live Event Branding, produced more than 6,000 square metres of pitch branding at Wembley Stadium for the Carling Cup Final 2011 between Arsenal and Birmingham City. It is understood to be the largest-ever fabric display in Europe,
featuring a mixture of digitally printed banners and bespoke pre-dyed cloth to pantones. The pitch at Wembley Stadium featured huge multi-coloured
