Season Fishing Charters and Lodge in Wellington, Ontario. I knew that Ian fished walleye in early spring out of Picton in the Bay of Quinte before heading to Lake Ontario for the summer salmon fishery. We made arrangements for a
Saturday in late May for the four of us to head for the elusive large walleye in Bay of Quinte. Tijan dreamt about these big “eyes” all winter and when the time finally came, off we went. The plan was to get to Wellington on the Friday, check into the lodge, have dinner and get ready for the walleye fish the next morning .The accommodations at the lodge were second to none with clean bedding and washroom facilities as well as a hearty breakfast in the morning. We were blessed with
unbelievably great weather on Saturday, with temperatures reaching into the low 70s. By all accounts, the fishing had been a little slow lately, but we were hoping for a good bite

and a large walleye or two for Tijan. We were well stocked with food and soft drinks for a sunny day of fishing; and after a couple of minutes to hook up a safety apparatus for Tijan’s wheelchair, we were off to fish. Ian’s 24 foot Chris-Craft had all
the latest in tech gear and fish finders that I have ever seen, including a 20- inch monitor which made the outputs easy to watch. Of course, we had bets
going for the largest fish, the first fish and most fish within a 15-minute time period for each angler on either side of the boat. Two hours in, we were still out there trolling along without so much as a touch, and Ian reported that other charters in the area were having as much luck as we were. Well, it was a long day and
