It’s National Bed Month


There are inexpensive yet realistic ways to create a more comfortable environment in your home. A lot of times small things can make a big improvement to your home. If your furniture looks like it needs updating you can have a dramatic effect with a specialist clean, a nice throw and some new cushions without replacing the whole suite. Why go to all the trouble and mess of taking down a wall when some simple redecorating or easy improvements will do. Heavy traffic rooms are usually a big focus point, but before you head straight for the kitchen and living room, your own comforts can be greatly improved by updating your bedrooms and bathroom. One of the easiest rooms to transform is the bedroom. With a bit of decorating, a change of curtains or blinds, quilt covers and pillowcases, and new lighting can completely change the atmosphere. But don’t forget the bed itself. Because the bed is out of sight it is probably the most neglected item of furniture in our homes yet, arguably, the most important. We spend around one third of our lives in bed ( Herald Sales Representatives considerably more,) and it’s where our bodies get the chance to recharge ready for the next day. The correct support is vital. When was the last time you vacuumed the bed ? When did you last turn it ? How old is it ? Is it sagging ? Does it have that roll together effect ? It might sound romantic, but how much damage is it causing your body if it’s not giving you the right support ?
