New & Noteworthy ... YOUTH UPDATE
We are nearing the end of what has proven to be a great show season with the ORHyA. Though this year we had a smaller group of active youth, the enthusiasm and perseverance of these members was by no means small. As a group we were able to hold several successful fundraisers, and 8 active, dedicated youth will be receiving ORHyA awards as a result.
• Huron Tractor • Radisson Hotel and Suites
• The Ivey Group, RBC Dominion Securities • Stoneridge Farms
• Reinbow Ridge Equestrian Next Board Meeting:
Monday, November 15 at 6:30 p.m. at Comfort Inn etc.
However, the year is not yet over. With one more show to go, it is very important that youth members get in contact with me, or with Vice President, Darby Mailhot, for information about last meetings. Overall, this past season showed great co-operation and team work from the youth, and we are confident this will continue in seasons to come. Good luck to all at the Grande Finale, and I hope to see you at the year-end awards banquet on November 6.
K.D. Grainger President, ORHyA

EXCITING OPPORTUNITY for new Reiners
If you know someone who would like to try reining, we have introduced a Welcome cate- gory to the Green as Grass class. To be eligible to show in this class, you cannot have shown at any prior reining and may show for one weekend only (i.e. two class- es). You do not have to own the horse and nor do you have to take out an ORHA mem- bership. This class will be available at the upcoming Grand Finale.

The O.R.H.A. is proud to have had strong representation at the 2010 FEI World Equestrian Games in Lexington, Kentucky at the end of September.
Jane Lyon (Foster) was deep in the thick of things as a steward, and Wendy Dyer was Chef d’equipe for the Canadian Team.
Way to go ladies, we look forward to hearing all about it.
