Our last AQHA show of the season turned out to be our best with 16 entries in the three classes. Nel- son Bilyea and Com- mander Bay Berry came out on top again in the Novice Ama- teur division while the Amateur was split between Duane Smith on Dual Sails and Sherry Black on Jacs Spinafox. Then Clare Smith and Kitty came out in the Open and smoked everyone with a great run to win under both judges.
August 22 was our fourth ORCHA show and again we noticed more entries. For what was supposed to be a wet and stormy day, the weather and pen were great.

Orange aPEEL
Deskunking and Deodorizing Shampoo and Conditioner!
From
"For 25 years I've been a pet groomer - and for that long I have searched for a successful skunk odor removal shampoo. Finally I have found one in the new Orange aPEEL De Skunker Deodorizer Sham- poo. The lather is very easy to work in around sensi- tive eyes and noses and the smell of the shampoo is wonderful. The skunky odor is removed, not just masked. The next day the dog still smells clean and fresh.
Orange aPEEL DeSkunker Deodorizer shampoo is now a staple on my shelf along side the Orange a Peel Pet Shampoo."

Youth: Gavin Workman/ Miss Gin Kitty
The cow run of the day was young Gavin Workman and Miss Gin Kitty scoring a pair of 72s - what a great lit- tle horse and one gutsy little rider. Our judge for the day was Harvey Stevens with many helpful tips and advice after the show. Thanks Har- vey!
September 19 is our “Finals” show with Joe Carter judging. As well as the show will be our year end awards with a steak and chicken BBQ followed by our Annual General Meet- ing. We are looking for your input into new ideas to
improve our 2011 show sea- son. Come on out and enjoy the show and socialize with the best group of people in the horse show world! From September 21 to 25 many of our members will be putting on demonstrations at the International Plowing Match in St. Thomas as part of the Performance Horse Spectacular. The ORCHA is working with the ORHA and OCHA to show them what reining, cutting and cow horse is all about.
Our last event of the sea- son is a jackpot show at the Wallacetown Fair on Octo- ber 2 with approximately $1500 up for grabs in the Open and Non Pro classes.
