This month has gone so quickly, I can’t believe that we are this close to Christmas! We will soon be officially in my worse season; autumn *said in a sinister voice* or as I like to call it ‘dirty streets of London season’. Roll out the Wellingtons people, its going to be a rough ride.
Has anything spectacular happened in the world of entertainment, let me see! Well, T.I has gone from hero, to villain then BACK to prison for 11 months; the maximum amount he could have been given for a parole violation. Christina Aguilera has filed for divorce from record exec Jordan Bratman and it is turning real ugly. Anita Baker is being sued by her decorators and her ex is trying to get his hands on
Starting with T.I, he just can’t seem to catch a break! He is just getting into more trouble each time he says that he is done with it. At first they were classing him as a hero for allegedly stopping someone from committing suicide, but this was later dismissed as a publicity stunt which T.I
vehemently denies. Then to top it off he is sentenced to 11 months in prison for violating his parole, but unlike over here T.I didn’t actually go straight to prison; I have never quite got the hang of how they do that in the states. I will be keeping an eye on him when he eventually gets out of jail just to see if he will be able to stay out of trouble once and for all.
With Christina and Jordan, the divorce started off amicable but has now spiralled into some kind of madness! There are rumours flying around regarding Christina cruis- ing for girls in gay bars for some fun and frolics but is this just Jordan spreading rumours, playing ‘dirty’ divorce? Christina believes so. Jordan also claims that they had an open marriage to
accommodate Christina’s lust for other woman! Oh Christina is that
you? I must say Jordan with those kind of allegations all you are going to do is make Christina much more popular, this is the world of music after all, the freakier people think you are the better. I do hope that her hubby remembers though that they have a child in the middle of all the madness and will one day be old enough to ask questions about their divorce!
The beautiful Anita Baker has been having a rough time of it financially, even nearly facing jail time over her running debts. Her situation is not helped by her battle with her ex-husband, Walter Bridgeforth Jr over their divorce settlement. Walter is striving to get as much out of her in the divorce with as much damage as possible. He is now trying to claim a share of her royalties; give a sister a break.
Talking about sisters needing a break Toni Braxton, who first filed for bankruptcy in 1998, has had to do so again. This time Toni owes in the region of $10 million to $50 million; that is a whole lot of cheese. One of Toni’s relatives reported on TMZ that Toni’s financial problems stem way back to when she had to cancel her Las Vegas shows at The Flamingo Hotel (I have stayed there, very nice) when her heart condition came to light and her insurance company refused to pay out
accusing Miss Braxton of withholding medical information from them. This is a prime example of how insurance companies love to pay out: yes that was sarcasm.
The high life of celebrities is mixed with the lows. Problem is when their lows come they come as a monsoon; now THAT’S entertainment. Doesn’t it make you glad that you are just a simple person just like me? I don’t mean simple in mind though, because I am one clever chick! *smile*
I shall be scanning the web for more stories to amuse myself over the next month, but until then look out for the paparazzi; they just might be taking pics of me.
