Kix Mag: Hi Leezy welcome to Kix Mag, expose yourself to the world. Leezy: I represent Noizee House Entertainment. I’m 1/3 of The Mbassy. I’m a producer / artist. I have been doing this for over ten years now, based in South London, I cross many different genres of music other than Hip Hop, like House music which is my next best thing, but my main genre is Hip Hop and RnB.

Kix: Tell us what you’ve been up to this past year? Leezy: The last year I’ve been going hard on my production, continuing my Dub for Dub with Sirious Productions, which is an instrumental CD. So it’s been a hard graft in the studio as far as my Roadworks sequel, which is Roadworks Vol:2. I have a Leezy lost tapes in the making, in which Ive been basically gathering up all my material. Other than that we have the Mbassy Gang, we have been working on tracks together. Which is ee myself Leezy, Dom P, Waterz, Jigga and Ooz. It’s like a London to Birmingham collaboration, where we put our music out on 1 CD. Basically we work with Fullmotion Ent in Birmingham who do all the
press and cover, It’s just a back and forth media exchange and promotion.
Other than that there’s Waterz solo mixtape called Waterz On Da Trap hosted by Big Ryde, which did alright promotion wise. We’ve been focusing on doing videos alot more. The DJ’s have been spinning so I have been trying to get all the tracks to the DJ’s. As far as radios are concerned we need them to get more exposure to the main stream, but we do have an underground sound about us.
Kix: How many mixtapes are you on now and who inspired you on your previous mixtapes? Leezy: I’m on Roadworks Vol:2. The last mixtape I did was back in 2008 where I printed 1000 copies and got good promotion from it. But with the last one I felt I needed to channel certain tunes to a certain audience, and I didn’t do that well. So what inspired me to do this one is get all the music that I’ve got, and back up every track with visuals..
Kix: What are your plans for 2011 - 2012? Leezy: Hopefully by 2011 the
