As for Ho!, it didn’t take long at all. It’s me featuring on a remix basically…

Kix Mag: You’ve released three songs very close together recently (Slang Like This, Sweet Shop & Ho!), why did it take so long for all these tracks to be released? P Money: All those releases aren’t just my releases, their mine and the producers. I’m the one without a

manager; producers have managers and what not. With Slang (Like This) True Tiger was getting a deal and they wanted Slang to be a part of the deal. So they couldn’t release Slang until they had sorted out their deal. Their deal took however long, it’s all sorted now. Then with Sweet Shop, Sweet Shop never took long to come out. I had the tune from ages ago, and when I had the tune played on radio, it had a release date within about three weeks.

Kix: Which of the three tracks would you say was the most successful? P Money: Probably Slang Like This because it was the first one to get radio play really.

Kix: Ho! got on the Radio One C playlist, do you see this as one small step on to bigger things for you personally? Or Grime in general? P Money: I think it’s a big thing for me and the scene really. When they look at me, they’re looking at what I do, and when I say “I do Grime”, they’re then looking at other artists who do similar things, and they see what they can do, they see what everyone is doing. If I’m able to get on the C list, the tune is now on the B list, so can other Grime artists. It’s just up to them to put in the work that I’m trying to put in. I haven’t watered it down or made a tune cheesy or nothing like that; there are plenty of other artists in Grime like me who can do the same thing. So I think it’s a good look, but it’ll only be
