just perceived … happiness and confidence. You can take it in that way or you can take it like us from behind the scenes … umm … we’ve just been through a lot of struggle to get to this point but the only reason we didn’t get to this point quick enough is because we didn’t really know what to do. So, we’re kind of saying .. now we know what to do to take it to this level, so its going to get really serious from here.
Kix: Since touring with Chipmunk you have broken into UK mainstream music … Marvell: (Shocka) Yeah, that was a big push for us .. yeah.
Kix: Have you tried to be more commercial with this latest track? Marvell: (Vertex) That’s our music really, we haven’t kind of watered it down or anything … it’s just ‘Marvell Music.’ (Shocka) But I would actually say that’s one of the most commercial tracks from our kind of stuff.

Kix: Because when I listened to your ‘Myspace’ music the other tunes were a little bit more raw and that one sounded like it was more commercial in comparison? Marvell: This is progress your seeing now, the songs before wasn’t even our sound that was
Marvell Boys - ‘We Know’
we realised that we cant keep making mix tapes over other peoples’ songs we’re going to need our own sound.

others lyrics and just mix ‘em up when free styling or do you just rap with each other so often that you’ve become in tuned? So, we’ve got this thing that we call the ‘Three Way’ .. it’s like I’ll bring in the ‘flow’, ‘Shocka’ will bring in the ‘Content’ and ‘Vertex’ will bring in the ‘Word Play’. And sometimes I’ll bring in the ‘Word Play’, he’ll bring in the ‘Flow’ and we vibes off each other.
just us spitting on other peoples beats. (Double S) Other beats sent to us by different producers. (Shocker) Cause we never really had a sound before everyone just knew us for being able to do good on other peoples’ songs but then
Kix: It’s good because when people work together and they’ve got a bit of chemistry you can do that sort of thing, you can predict what someone else is going to say and roll of each other if you don’t have that its not going to work is it? Marvell: (Shocka) Yeah, it doesn’t work at all … that’s exactly what it is (Vertex) .. we’ve got good chemistry!
Kix: I checked out your ‘Tim Westwood’ 1 extra free style show on ‘You Tube’ … there was a strong flow together dropping lyrics in time, at the same time, and echoing. Is this because you all know each
Kix: I heard you MC’ing to a couple garage tunes on the ‘West Wood Show’ … Sounded really good!
Marvell: (Double S) Thanks, darling.
