which male Ultimate player really impresses you from the younger ones? Which from the veterans.... And why to both. There are so many because the guys are so good now. Kielan is a foundation for any team he plays for. Mark Loyd is a great player for GOAT, and there are a few guys from Winnipeg that are really talented. John Hassel and Mike Grant are two guys that you just have to put up there as two of the best ever, and the list could go on and on. I know know that there are four or five guys on Phoenix that I really hate covering (young’ins you know who you are.

27. Which female player really impresses you with her game, and why? Allison Walker is great and I agree with Derek that she should be in open. Danielle Fortin is awesome and Anne Mercier as well as ‘Hoody’ from Toronto are all very talented.

28. Will you retire to masters men, or co-ed?....Or is the ladder co-ed, then masters? Not sure yet. At this point I have put no thought into either, and am not thinking about retirement (probably not co-ed).

29. How much does training play into your game? Do you just practise with the team, or do you train

outside of the Ultimate team practices? I am in the gym four to five days a week this year. The young guys are hungry and that fuels us older guys to try and keep our spots. I need to do this to try and give me an edge. So four to five times a week as well as the two team practices a week are good.

30. What about nutrition? Eating what you want, or eating responsibly? I never really though about it much before this year, but last year it showed. I eat pretty well now and try to watch what I do in combination with working out to peak at the right times for the season.

31. What really irks you about the sport? (Ie. No refs, or cheating calls?) I have to agree with Jamie, I am not a big fan of the cheers and some of the mentality that goes along with this sport. If we want the rest of the world to take this sport seriously, then we who play it, need to take it seriously first .

32. What do you love the most about the sport? I like the competition. I like the fact that you play 7 or 8 games in a tournament, and that a team is only as good as the last game it wins.
